Danielle is a Psychotherapist who is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Art Therapist in CA. Danielle’s approach to counseling is strength based, client-centered, and holistically grounded. She prides herself on offering a trusting and supportive space to clients and is dedicated to listening carefully, offering insight with compassion, empathy, and care. Danielle integrates complementary methodologies to offer a personalized approach to your healing process.
Danielle graduated Summa Cum Laude from Phillips Graduate University with a master’s in psychology and a dual focus in Art Therapy. She is the Owner and CEO of Open Mind Marriage and Family Therapy Inc. where she works with Individuals, families, couples, and children with Mental health barriers.

Danielle has comprehensive experience in navigating anxiety, grief, depression, and trauma. She is an art therapist who uses creativity as an additional tool to heal and understand the unconscious parts of self outside of talk therapy. She will meet you where you are, helping normalize your feelings and building upon your strengths. She utilizes motivational interviewing, effective crisis intervention, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic theory, solution focused, and art therapy. She has gained training with various social and cultural backgrounds. In her training she provided psychotherapy services for the underserved population in South LA for four years before entering private practice. Danielle believes therapy should not be just a luxury but should be available for all.
